SiteMonitor Single Port Gigabit PoE Injector - Polarity Agnostic Version

Our SiteMonitor products permit the monitoring and control of equipment at any site which has IP connectivity. Designed to provide low-cost SNMP and Web monitoring and control, the SiteMonitor products are the perfect addition to any remote Repeater Site, or to any equipment you want to be able to monitor via SNMP.

This add-on module is a Universal Gigabit PoE injector  The unit accepts  any positive or negative voltage between 12 and 60 VDC and injects it onto the CAT5 cable.  Internal Jumpers permit configuration of which pairs receive which polarity of power.  This enables the unit to be configured for almost any power injection method which is compatible with Gigabit Ethernet, including most older 10/100 Power Injection schemes.   It also has built in overcurrent protection to protect against shorts and similar on the CAT5 side of the cable.

Note: Although this unit will operate as a simple PoE injector without a SiteMonitor Base 3, in order to remotely control the unit (including remote reset of overcurrent trips), a SiteMonitor Base 3 is required.
