Our new RackInjector includes the following key features:
- 1U 19" RackMounted Metal Enclosure.
- Base price ($249) includes the enclosure and Control Board.
- The rack enclosure has room for the Control Board and up to 4 power injection boards.
- The Control Board includes the following:
- 10/100 Ethernet Management Interface featuring a new, modern, and responsive web interface.
- Control all ports in the device using the web interface.
- RJ45 jack to connect to a PacketFlux SyncBox GPS receiver (or our earlier SyncPipe products) to receive sync from the GPS constellation for use by boards which are capable of 1PPS derived synchronization.
- GPS synchronization output jack to connect to additional PacketFlux sync-over-power products at a site.
- Three power inputs, each rated at 10A. Each input can be a different voltage to support different radio types.
- Monitor the voltage of each power input. In a future release of the firmware, log and graph the voltages directly on the device.
- Chassis has room for up to 4 injection boards. With all 4 boards installed, 16 ports of injection are available in 1U.
- All PoE injection boards have the following features
- Individually selectable power source on each port via jumpers. Select from any of the 3 power inputs.
- Capable of 1A per pair of pairs - 2A total per port when using all 4 pairs. (96W at 48V).
- Full electronic over-current and short circuit protection.
- Each port individually controllable through the web interface on the Control Board.
- There are now four power injection boards available to order:
- Power Injection Polarity Agnostic Board
- Power pinouts configurable via jumper - supports almost any power injection scheme which is Gigabit-compatible, including many older 10/100 powering schemes.
- DOES NOT provide any synchronization pulse. Use only for radios which do not require sync over power.
- Supports 'all 4 pair' power injection used by airFiber Radios and others.
- Accepts either positive or negative power sources, so devices requiring negative power (i.e. -48V) can be powered by this unit.
- Power Injection for Cambium Sync Board
- Provides the newer "Cambium Sync" style synchronization which can be used by the 450i and is required by the 450m, ePMP 3000 and PTP 550.
- ONLY supports radios which are compatible with the 56V CMM5
- Accepts either +48V or -48V power sources
- Power Distribution Unit Board
- Four screw-terminal outputs for radios and other devices which need direct DC power instead of PoE
- Power source for each channel is selectable by jumper.
- Provides up to 4 Amps of power output per channel
- Accepts either positive or negative power sources, so devices requiring negative power (i.e. -48V) can be powered by this unit.
- Power Injection + Canopy Sync Board:
- Power pinouts configurable via jumper - supports almost any power injection scheme which is Gigabit-compatible, including many older 10/100 powering schemes.
- Supports 'all 4 pair' power injection used by airFiber radios and others.
- Capable of providing Canopy-style Sync-Over-Power synchronization compatible with 450i and earlier Cambium radios, provided a PacketFlux sync source is connected to the Control Board. Timing is completely compatible with official Cambium Timing products such as the CMM Micro and CMM4.
- Requires all radios on the board to be powered from positive voltage (negative ground)
- Power Injection Polarity Agnostic Board
- Entire unit is designed to operate from -40C/F to +50C, non-condensing.
